Transformer for Three Phase Locomotives

1) The Transformer is Forced Oil Cooled with 2 circuits
2) Having Permawood clamping parts to minimize  the stray & eddy losses in the clamping parts
3) Loco transformer is a front end component which steps down *5 kV AC line cantenary voltage to ***9 V for feeding to 3 phase regenrative drive which ultimately drives 3 phase asynchronous traction motors
4) The transformer also has auxiliary winding of ***0 V for feeding to auxiliary  converter & filter winding of ***4 V for harmonic reduction filter.
5) ***1 kVA without Hotel load winding for WAG9 locomotive & designated as LOT ***0
6) ***5 kVA with Hotel load winding for WAP5 & WAP7 locomotive & designated as LOT ***0
